Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Last revised: July 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to Glendale Lock & Key and its website at glendalelockandkey.com. Glendale Lock & Key is a home-service marketing and referral company: it advertises home services, takes requests from site visitors, and passes those requests to independent businesses that carry out the actual work. By using glendalelockandkey.com or submitting any service request, a visitor accepts the practices described here.

1. Your Choices

Visitors have several straightforward options regarding their information:

  • Opt out of text messages: Reply STOP to any text from Glendale Lock & Key to stop receiving texts.
  • Ask what is on file: Visitors may request a summary of the personal information Glendale Lock & Key holds about them.
  • Request deletion: Visitors may ask that their information be removed by reaching out through the contact page.

2. Information Collected

Glendale Lock & Key collects information in two main ways.

Request and contact information. When a visitor fills out a quote form, uses a chat feature, or calls in, Glendale Lock & Key collects whatever the visitor provides — typically a name, a service address, an email address, a phone number, and a description of the project or job needed. Not every visitor supplies all of these; what is collected depends on what the visitor submits.

Technical and browsing data. Like most websites, glendalelockandkey.com automatically records certain information when a visitor arrives: the pages viewed during the session, the type of browser being used, approximate location derived from IP address, and how the visitor arrived at the site (such as a search engine or advertisement). This data is used for site operation, analytics, and ad measurement.

3. State Privacy Rights

Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah — and residents of other states whose laws provide comparable protections — have the following rights with respect to their personal information:

  • Access: The right to know the categories of personal information collected and the specific pieces held, as well as who received that information.
  • Correction: The right to have inaccurate personal information corrected.
  • Deletion: The right to request that personal information be deleted, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Portability: The right to receive a copy of personal information in a portable, usable format.
  • Opt out of sale or sharing: The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising or profiling based on it.

Important notice regarding the referral model. When a visitor submits a service request, Glendale Lock & Key passes the visitor’s contact and project details to the independent businesses positioned to respond to that request. Under some of the state laws listed above, that transfer may qualify as a sale or a share of personal information. A visitor who does not want their information transferred in that way should not submit a request. To opt out or withdraw information already submitted, the visitor should contact Glendale Lock & Key through the contact page — that is the opt-out mechanism; there is no cookie toggle or banner for this purpose.

How to exercise these rights. Submit a request through the contact page. An authorized agent may submit a request on a consumer’s behalf provided the agent supplies written proof of authorization. Glendale Lock & Key may verify the identity of the person making the request before acting on it. A response will be provided within the timeframe required by the applicable state law.

Appeals. If Glendale Lock & Key declines to honor a request, the consumer may appeal by responding to the decision notice or by contacting Glendale Lock & Key again. Glendale Lock & Key will communicate the outcome of the appeal as required by law.

Non-discrimination. No visitor is denied service, charged a higher price, or given a reduced level of service because they chose to exercise any of the rights described here.

4. Changes to This Policy

Glendale Lock & Key may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, the revised date shown at the top of the page will reflect the date the updated version took effect. Continued use of glendalelockandkey.com after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Last updated: July 10, 2026.

5. Children

glendalelockandkey.com is not directed at children under the age of 13, and Glendale Lock & Key does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone in that age group. If Glendale Lock & Key learns that information has been collected from a child under 13, it will be deleted promptly.

6. Analytics and Ad Measurement

Glendale Lock & Key uses standard web analytics tools to understand how visitors use glendalelockandkey.com and to measure the performance of its advertising. The output of that process — aggregate traffic counts, session statistics, conversion rates, and similar metrics — consists of de-identified or aggregated data. Those aggregate or de-identified statistics are not sold. For the treatment of personal information collected through the site, see the sections above.

7. Text Message (SMS) Disclosure

By providing a phone number through glendalelockandkey.com, a visitor may receive text messages from two sources: Glendale Lock & Key itself, and the independent business or professional that receives and acts on the visitor’s request.

Submitting a request constitutes consent to be contacted by text message or phone call, including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system and messages that use a prerecorded or artificial voice. This consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Message frequency varies depending on the nature of the request and the volume of responses from partner businesses. Standard message and data rates may apply based on the visitor’s mobile carrier plan.

To stop receiving texts, reply STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP. Note that opting out of texts will stop text messages but will not stop other forms of contact (phone calls or email) related to an open request unless the visitor separately requests that through the contact page. Questions and opt-out requests may also be submitted there directly.

8. Disclosure to Responding Businesses and Consent to Contact

The core function of Glendale Lock & Key is to connect homeowners with businesses that can do the work. When a visitor submits a form, engages with a chat tool, or otherwise provides information through glendalelockandkey.com, the contact details and project description that visitor supplies are sent to the contractors, tradespeople, and licensed service firms within the Glendale Lock & Key referral network that are matched to the request. Those businesses are independently owned and operated; Glendale Lock & Key does not supervise them or control how they follow up. Once a visitor’s information is in their hands, they may reach out directly by phone, email, or text.

By submitting information through glendalelockandkey.com, a visitor agrees to that transfer and agrees to be contacted — by Glendale Lock & Key and by whatever business takes the request — by phone, email, or text message regarding the request. Agreeing to receive calls or texts is not a condition of purchasing any service.

9. Affiliated Brands and Shared Service Providers

Glendale Lock & Key operates as part of a group of home-service websites and brands that share common ownership or management. Across that group, certain operational systems are shared — including call-handling platforms, scheduling and customer-relationship tools, hosting infrastructure, and marketing technology. Personal information collected through glendalelockandkey.com may be shared among those related brands and with the vendors that support them in order to route a request to the right trade or geographic area, and for purposes such as scheduling support, billing, fraud prevention, and service quality oversight. Any affiliated brand or shared vendor that receives personal information does so under this policy or a policy that is materially consistent with it.

10. Contact and Privacy Requests

Questions about this Privacy Policy, or requests to exercise any of the rights described above, should be directed to Glendale Lock & Key through the contact page. Glendale Lock & Key will respond as promptly as the applicable law requires.
